Smac Partners focused on early-stage ICT technologies and services of start-ups. The investment geographies are mainly Europe and Israel, with leverage of a global network. The secondary investments provide highly flexible customised solutions to optimise the value of single assets or entire portfolios of corporate and institutional venture capital companies. In 2001 they started with Siemens Mobile Acceleration as a corporate venture arm of Siemens Mobile. In 2006 they performed a secondary transaction of the total Siemens fund with the new name Tempo Park Fund 1. smac | partners advises the fund with originally more than 30 ICT early-stage investments in the USA, Asia, Europe and Israel. In 2007 smac partners executed a typical tail-end secondary venture capital transaction by acquiring a portfolio from Vertex Venture Capital, Israel.
