Stephane Etroy has been Executive Vice-President and Head of Private Equity since April 2017. In this role, he is responsible for CDPQ’s global private equity, which represents more than half of the institution’s private equity. The teams that he manages have extensive experience both as direct investors in companies and as partners of investment funds. The investments target several industries and transaction types around the world. Mr. Etroy is also responsible for the London office and sits on CDPQ’s Executive Committee and Investment-Risk Committee. With 18 years of experienced in the private equity market, Mr. Etroy joined CDPQ in September 2015 as Senior Vice-President and Co-Head of Direct Investments, in addition to taking on the role of Head of Europe Private Equity.
