Stella has worked within the Islamic financial marketplace for over three decades. Since 1998, she has been Managing Director of DDCAP Group, is a leading provider of Sharia’s compliant intermediation services and related technology solutions, including the award winning ETHOS Asset Facilitation Platform™. Prior to founding DDCAP, Stella was a Director of Dresdner Kleinwort Benson, where her team managed Sharia’a compliant assets aggregating over US$2bn. Stella has consulted on Islamic financial market practice for several overseas regulatory authorities. She was also one of a small group of industry experts appointed to the first Islamic Finance Task Force convened by the UK government. With support from the Task Force, the first UK Sovereign Sukuk was issued in June 2014. In 2014, Stella was appointed Chair of the Islamic Finance Market Advisory Group formed by TheCityUK, the financial services professional body that champions UK-based financial and related professional services.
