Stephanie Ichinose has more than 17 years of experience in driving communications for some of the most well regarded consumer tech companies including Yelp, Yahoo! and Sony Computer Entertainment America. As Marketing Partner, Stephanie will be responsible for managing the Accel Partners brand and advising entrepreneurs in the Accel portfolio on their strategic positioning and communications strategies. Most recently Stephanie served as Yelp’s Senior Director of Communications overseeing a crackerjack team of six. She was hired as their first communications strategist in 2006 and was an integral part of the company in it’s growth from Series A to IPO, and on to the public markets. As the company grew from 17 employees to more than 1,300 employees, she scaled the communications team to support the rapidly expanding business both domestically and internationally.
