As a President and COO, Stephano has built and scaled e-commerce marketplaces, digital marketing and ad technology platforms, consumer databases, and cross channel CRM platforms. Stephano was president of [x+1] (acquired by RocketFuel, NASDAQ: FUEL), co-founder of Blackboard (NASDAQ: BBBB), and directed strategy and business development at AOL. Stephano also advises several venture capital and private equity funds as an operating partner, while managing Springhouse Capital, his own private angel fund that has made investments in almost 2 dozen early stage companies including ZocDoc, DramaFever, Shareaholic, Chromatik WeddingWire, Shift, ClassPass, and Aloha.
