Mr. Stuart Mackey serves as the Chief Business Officer and Vice President at Santaris Pharma A/S since October 2009. Mr. Mackey joined Santaris Pharma A/S after spending the last ten years at leading biotech company Amgen Inc. where most recently he served as Managing Director of Amgen Ventures. Mr. Mackey oversaw and directs the corporate venture capital fund's investment in early-stage biotechnology companies focused on discovering and developing human therapeutics. Mr. Mackey serves as an Executive Director of Amgen Ventures' Corporate Development department, responsible for out licensing efforts and corporate alliance management. Mr. Mackey originally joined Amgen Ventures' Law Department in 1999, supporting Amgen's strategic alliances, international business activities and licensing efforts.
