Subhanu Saxena

Subhanu Saxena is the Global Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director at Cipla Inc. since February 2013. Subhanu was previously Head of Global Product Strategy and Commercialisation at Novartis, where he was also part of the Swiss pharma giant's executive committee. Prior to this most recent position at Novartis, Subhanu was Chief Executive Officer and Country President of Novartis UK. Subhanu also has wide non-healthcare experience, working with companies such as Citicorp, the Boston Consulting Group and PepsiCo across markets in Europe, North America, Africa and Asia. Subhanu has a Graduate degree in Engineering from Oxford University and an MBA from INSEAD, France.
