Dr. Sujeet Kumar is the founder and CEO of Zenlabs Energy, a company developing high-energy fast-charging lithium-ion batteries for Electric and Aerial Vehicles. Before Zenlabs, Dr. Kumar served as CTO of Envia Systems where he developed high-capacity manganese-based cathode and won several DoE awards. Dr. Kumar worked as a senior scientist for Greatbatch, leading the development of cathode materials for implantable medical batteries. Dr. Kumar started his career at Nanogram Corp as its first employee where he led several energy storage projects. Dr. Kumar has won the R & D 100 award for developing high energy lithium-ion batteries and is the inventor of over 60 patents. Dr. Kumar has a Ph.D. in Materials Science from the University of Rochester and a B.Tech from IIT, Varanasi.
