Suresh is responsible for sourcing investment opportunities in the Communications space, adding value to the teams of our portfolio companies, and working with founders and entrepreneurs on developing their ventures. He brings 23 years of experience in the Communications industry to Finaventures. In 1996, Suresh founded Accelerated Networks. Under his leadership, in just four years, the company received $88 million dollars in private capital. The company raised another $72 million from a successful IPO in June 2000. Prior to founding Accelerated Networks, Suresh was with ACT Networks which went public in 1995. Suresh was pivotal in driving ACT’s growth from a start-up company to a successful publicly traded company with a valuation of $500 million. Prior to ACT, Suresh was Director of Product Development at MICOM Systems, Inc. (Nortel Networks) for five years, where he was responsible for developing Statistical Multiplexers, Protocol Converter products and X.25 PADS. Before MICOM,
