Susan Martin joined the LPFA in April 2007 as Director of Organisational Development bringing over 20 years’ experience in managing organisational change, pensions, mergers and acquisitions and partnership working across all sectors. She has led the LPFA change programme since joining helping to shape and position the LPFA as a world class pension fund and administration provider, and was promoted to Deputy Chief Executive in 2011 and Chief Executive in December 2013. Susan is the LPFA’s representative on the Investors Committee of the 30% Club which aims to increase Board diversity and thereby generate profitable growth. Susan also acts as a substitute for Local Government Pension Scheme(LGPS) Funds on the LGPS shadow subcommittee on Governance and Standards She is on the Board of the Public Sector People Managers’ Association (PPMA) and is its Pensions Policy Lead.
