Telecom ParisTech is a French graduate school that provides a diverse range of science-based educational courses, including bachelor’s and master’s degrees in the disciplines of physics, mechanics, chemistry, computer science, and more. Telecom ParisTech also has four research laboratories that include department of electronics and communications, department of computer science and networking, department of signal and image processing, and department of economic and social sciences. These departments carry out research in the optimization and the transmission of information; the improvement in data processing; microelectronics, such as FPGA and DSP systems; image and signal processing, wavelets; and artificial intelligence, data mining, distributed and real-time systems. Telecom ParisTech was founded in 1878 and is based in France.
