Taimur currently leads business development for Redis Labs. From 2018 to early 2021, Taimur led customer success for Azure Data and AI. Prior to Microsoft, he led world-wide business development for AWS Platform at Amazon Web Services (AWS), which included new product incubation and growth. Taimur joined AWS in 2008 as an early member of the sales team, and ran sales in the southwest region. He then ran world-wide business development for AWS Database Services, and helped launched several services including Amazon RDS, Amazon DynamoDB, and Amazon Reshift. In 2011, Taimur led business development for Compute Services, and focused on growing EC2 adoption and revenue within strategic verticals and market segments including financial services, enterprises, gaming, life sciences, media & entertainment, and telecommunications.
