Before joining ABC World Asia, Shao Ming founded and led Peer Capita Pte Ltd, a Singapore-based start-up providing mezzanine debt and structured equity solutions to middle market companies. He was also previously a Director at Citi Venture Capital International (CVCI), where he started up the Singapore office. At CVCI, he headed the firm’s investment activities in Southeast Asia, and led the portfolio management and divestment of companies in the industrials, automotive components, building materials, medical services and consumer space. Shao Ming also held the position of Director of the Special Situations / Asian Merchant Banking team at Citadel Investment Group, and began his career with Temasek Holdings in the Financial Services cluster. Shao Ming holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering and a Master of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from the National University of Singapore. He is a CFA Charterholder.
