TAQA’s North American oil and gas business focuses on conventional oil and gas exploration and production in Canada. TAQA also has power generation investments in the United States, through a gas-fired power station in New Jersey and a wind farm in Minnesota. The company is a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi National Energy Company. Its oil and gas activities are divided into three main areas which include North, Central, and South. 2016 2P reserves were 308.6 mmboe with a total average daily production of 75.5 thousand barrels of oil equivalent a day.
