Tarek is Managing Partner at Ideavelopers, Egypt's leading venture capital firm. He leads the Ideavelopers team in supporting entrepreneurs and in selecting new investments. Prior to joining Ideavelopers, he was General Manager of CID Consulting where he led the company’s aggressive growth, making it one of the leading consulting firms in Egypt. Tarek’s consulting work focused on strategic management issues for clients in the IT, Telecom and government sectors. Tarek started his career in Silicon Valley where he worked in technology development and later in management consulting. He holds a BSc in Electronics Engineering from Ain Shams University and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
