Mr. Zhang has more than 20 years of experience in travel and lodging industry. Since 2005, Mr. Zhang has been the President and CEO for HUBS1. Prior to founding HUBS1, Mr. Zhang was Special Assistant to the Chairman, CEO and Managing Director of the Thayer Group, one of the largest private equity firms in the US. He was responsible for leading the company's new initiatives and acquisition strategies for Thayer Fund IV. Before that, he was Director of Finance and Corporate Strategy for Thayer portfolio hotels in the US, responsible for strategic planning and corporate finance for more than four billion real estate assets. He was also responsible for the asset management of the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company after Thayer's acquisition of the company with the Marriott. Prior to joining the Thayer Group, Mr. Zhang held various hotel executive positions at major international hotel chains including Accor, Marriott, and Hilton both in China and the US.
