GIG – great idea group – is a private venture capital and principal investment firm based in Malta, and with offices in Zug, Switzerland. GIG is mainly active in the Boards of its portfolio companies safeguarding their governance and finances; GIG does not manage other people’s money in a fund or the likes, but takes responsibility for the companies and investments for which it puts together tailor-made financings sourced from their co-investor base. Though GIG is agnostic to industry and stage of the investment, the preference is to listen to great ideas in high technology. GIG loves the transforming power of new technologies on traditional industries.
