The UAE FoodTech Challenge is a global competition that identifies and supports early-stage, tech-driven agri-food startups focused on food production and food loss and waste. The program offers equity-free cash prizes, grants, and in-kind support to help participants deploy solutions in arid, hot, and challenging environments. It targets ventures working at the food-water-energy nexus with minimum viable products and small teams. Finalists receive mentorship, access to accelerators, and connections to impact partners in the UAE and Global South. The competition aims to advance food security through scalable agritech and food system innovation.
