Thomas (TJ) is a Managing Director in the Merchant Banking Division (MBD) of Goldman Sachs and Global Head of the division’s private equity activities in the healthcare sector. TJ first joined Goldman Sachs as an analyst in MBD in 1997, working in the New York, London and Milan offices. He rejoined the firm as an associate in 2004 after co-founding and serving as Chief Executive Officer of a software services business in Italy and graduating from business school. TJ became a Vice President in 2006 and was named Managing Director in 2009.
