Tim is Chairman of BGF portfolio company Celaton. His specialist areas are technology, service businesses and engineering. Tim was recruited into GEC in the late 70’s under the General Managers development program. During the following 20 years, Tim worked for many of the GEC companies both in the UK and overseas with his final assignment as MD of Avery Berkel UK. In 1998, Tim worked with Natwest Ventures to acquire four companies forming the Pennine Software business which was sold to Alphameric. Since then Tim been involved in a number of buyouts working as a CEO/Chairman/NED.
