Tim Hassinger is President and CEO of Dow AgroSciences, a position he assumed in May 2014. Prior to this role, he served as the company’s Global Commercial Leader (February 2013 to April 2014) and Global Leader, Crop Protection Global Business Unit (August 2009 to April 2014). Hassinger joined The Dow Chemical Company in 1984 as a Sales Trainee in Midland, Michigan, and started as a Field Sales Representative later that year in the Chicago sales office for the agricultural chemical business. He was transferred to Indianapolis, Indiana, in 1990 to assume the role of Supply Chain Planning Specialist. In 1993, he was named Product Marketing Manager, and in 1996 relocated to Memphis, Tennessee, as District Sales Manager for the Mid-South district. In 1998, Hassinger returned to Indianapolis to take the role of Senior Marketing Specialist for the Midwest Business Unit. In 2000, he assumed the role of Market/Sell Leader for the Americas, and in 2001 was appointed as a Global Business Leader
