Tola is the CEO/Co-Founder of Norebase. As Nigeria’s Assistant Chief Negotiator, he helped design and negotiate the African Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA), which created a single market for Africa’s 1.2 billion people. Prior to this, he helped set up Nigeria’s Ease of Doing Business Secretariat (EBES) delivering reforms like visa on arrival, government process automation, and land title e-registration, which moved Nigeria 24 ranks up the World Bank’s Ease of Doing Business ranking in a single year. He co-founded and served as General Counsel at Future Africa, one of Africa’s most prolific early-stage venture funds. He has advised over 100 start-ups and businesses across Africa, Europe and the US.
