Mr. Liu is a founder and the CEO of ChinaScope Financial. He is responsible for managing the firm and focuses on overseeing product design, IT, product and service quality. Prior to joining ChinaScope, Mr. Liu worked as an Investment Banker in the Financial Institutions Group at Credit Suisse in both New York and Hong Kong. He focused on M&A opportunities and IPO’s in the insurance and banking sectors in particular, and was responsible for many of the notable transactions, such as the integration of Seng Heng Bank and ICBC Maucau Branch, the strategic investment by a major European reinsurer into a major Chinese reinsurance Group, the acquisition of 20% of Standard Bank by ICBC.
