Tom Perkins

Tom Perkins joined Monitor Clipper Partners in January 2004, focusing on optimizing the performance of MCP’s portfolio companies. Prior to joining MCP, Mr. Perkins was a Partner at Monitor Group and a leader of Monitor’s manufacturing and private equity practice groups, where he directed due diligence projects for MCP beginning in 1998. Mr. Perkins holds undergraduate degrees from Williams College, summa cum laude, and Cambridge University, first-class honours, and graduate manufacturing engineering and M.B.A. degrees from Stanford University, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar. Mr. Perkins has been actively involved in operating projects at MCP portfolio companies including CMC Biologics, Earth Fare, LaserShip, MSC, Pharmetics, Reverse Logistics, and STS Medical Group, and has served as a Board member for several MCP companies.
