Tony Wainaina was formerly the first Chief Executive Officer of TransCentury Limited, a Pan-African Investment Company based in Nairobi, Kenya. In addition to developing a management team, and establishing the operations and systems of the investment company from inception, Tony led in the structuring, negotiation and acquisition of several private equity investments in East, Central and South Africa. Prior to this he was the Chief Executive Officer of ICDC Investment Co. Ltd, now Centum, where he led the privatisation of the company's management structure after 32 years of management by the parent state corporation. Tony built the management team and established the operations and systems of the Investment company from inception.
