Torbjorn Folkesson

Torbjörn Folkesson joined 3i in 2011 and is part of the Nordic private equity team. Key deals that Torbjörn has been involved in include HTC Group AB and OneMed. He is also an observer on the Board of Eltel. Prior to joining 3i, Torbjörn worked at Bain Capital (based in London), where he worked on large cap buy-outs across Europe, with a special focus on the Nordic region, as well as with Bain Capital’s portfolio companies. Torbjörn has a strategy consulting background and started his career at L.E.K. Consulting in London, giving strategic and operational advice to large corporates, as well as advising on mergers and acquisitions. Torbjörn has a Master of Science in finance from the Stockholm School of Economics, and a bachelor degree in psychology from the University of Lund.
