Torsten started his career as a management consultant with McKinsey & Co. in Frankfurt, Istanbul, and Cologne. After that, he spent 16 years in different management positions with the ERGO insurance group, the last 8 of those years as the groups CEO. Currently he manages the build-up of InsurLab Germany, the new InsurTech Hub in Cologne, Germany.
