Tripp Lane is a Principal in the Media team based in London and originally joined the New York office in 2006. In addition, Tripp spent 18 months working on the internal financing team in which he focused on transaction financing and portfolio company capital structure issues. Tripp has worked on a number of investments and portfolio companies including Cengage Learning (FKA Thomson Learning), New Look, EMAP and Trader Corporation. He is currently a board member of New Look. Prior to joining Apax Partners, Tripp worked in the Healthcare group at Warburg Pincus and in the Mergers and Strategic Advisory Group at Goldman Sachs. Tripp holds an MBA from The Wharton School, an MA in International Relations from the School of Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins University, and a BA from Colgate University.
