Troy has been with Yorkville Advisors since 2004. He serves as Chairman of the Firm’s investment committee and his responsibilities include oversight of the deal structuring, management of deal pipeline, due diligence, and execution of structured debt and equity investments. Troy is a recognized authority in corporate and securities matters, and is a frequent speaker on related topics. Prior to joining Yorkville Advisors, Troy was a corporate and securities partner at the law firm of K&L Gates LLP ("K&L"), a leading international law firm with over 2,000 lawyers. Troy's legal experience at K&L included representing public and private companies, venture capital firms, buyout and hedge funds, broker-dealers and commercial banks in a wide variety of corporate and securities transactions. He has extensive knowledge of many industries, including oil and gas, natural resources, optical networking technologies, renewable energy, private equity, venture capital, technology, telecommunications
