United Utilities (UU) is the largest listed water company in the UK. UU manages the regulated water and wastewater network in North West England, servicing almost seven million people. They have recently launched their fifth innovation lab where they are searching for solutions within the following areas: Better Rivers (monitoring and treating pollution in the rivers in an environmentally friendly way) Dynamic Network Management (how to monitor, communicate and control the asset health and condition of their network) Water Efficiency (How to monitor and reduce consumption as well as increase conservation of water for their domestic and commercial customers) Low Carbon Construction (How they can forecast and lower the carbon emissions of their upcoming construction projects) Wildcard (any technology that could be beneficial to United Utilities - Surprise them) The lab is equity-free and does not require companies to relocate for the programme.
