About
The US-Russia Innovation Corridor (USRIC) seeks to increase collaboration in innovation and commercialization between the U.S. and Russia. USRIC grew out of a relationship between the University of Maryland, College Park (UMD) and the Lobachevsky State University of Nizhny Novgorod (UNN) established through the EURECA Program. The Enhancing University Research and Entrepreneurial Capacity (EURECA) program, funded by the U.S. Russia Foundation for Economic Advancement and the Rule of Law (USRF), supports new models of scientific and technical cooperation between Russian and American universities. USRIC has been recognized by the U.S. Russia Bilateral Presidential Commission within its working group innovation. The US-Russia Innovation Corridor (USRIC), administered by American Councils for International Education, provides assistance to start-up companies, innovative projects and universities wishing to explore collaborations with U.S. partners.
