Vel Kanniappan is the Senior Vice President – Finance, responsible for all global finance functions at NIUM. Vel Kanniappan is with UiPath as Vice President – Global Business & Finance Operations, responsible for the Commercial finance organization for the Asia Pacific, and is also a vital member of the global finance organization. Vel joined Tekion in 2017 at a very early stage when the organization had 20 employees. Being the only qualified finance professional in the organization, he was responsible for managing the global finance and operations (Global Facilities, Procurement, IT Infrastructure, SOC Certifications, Payroll, Compliances, etc.) in addition to product design and management. He was responsible for conceptualizing and building the finance modules for Tekion’s product offering, including designing wireframes and UX.
