Venk Krishnan is the founder of NuWare. He is a leader who has rapidly grown NuWare by leveraging on market trends and focus on satisfying customer needs. Under the able leadership of Venk Krishnan, NuWare has gone from strength to strength. It listed on the Inc. 500 for two years in a row and ranked as a Fast 50 company by Deloitte and Touche. Prior to founding NuWare, Venk started GovXcel, a software company servicing the US local government sector which was acquired in 2003 by Mitchell Humphrey. Venk has worked in senior technical and managerial roles at Automated Securities (division of SunGard), Bell South Wireless Data, JP Morgan Chase, Merrill Lynch, Citigroup, Sybase and Wipro. An early angel investor, Venk has interests in Mu-Sigma (www.mu-sigma.com), Erasmic Venture Fund, one of India’s first early stage venture funds, K2, and Vedanta. He is also a charter member of the TIE, New York (TIE-A network fostering entrepreneurship globally). Venk is a graduate of BITS Pilani, India
