Veysel Berk is the Founder of TeaShop and PayPad. Veysel previously worked at Wallit as a Founder. He attended the University of California, Berkeley and Boğaziçi University. Veysel Berk is the CEO and founder of Vid, a startup that lets you easily see and share looping videos co-created by friends, import vine videos with a single tap, apply slow/fast motion, and create remakes and collage of popular vine videos. He was able to raise about $1M seed-funding in less than two weeks from angel investors and venture capitals such as executives from OpenTable, HP and Storm Ventures. Veysel holds a PhD from UC Berkeley and is a Postdoctoral fellow of Steve Chu (US Secretary of Energy and Nobel Laureate). He is the founder of TOCW (Turkish OpenCourseWare Project) and is an expert in image processing and instrumentation.
