Vimal Patel serves as a Senior Analyst of Columbia Management Investment Advisers, LLC. Prior to this, Vimal Patel served as Vice President of Bertram Capital Management LLC. Prior to this, Vimal Patel was in Corporate Development at Zynga focused on mergers and acquisitions in the mobile gaming space. Previously, he was a Principal of Sierra Ventures, Sierra Ventures VIII, L.P. and Sierra Ventures IX, L.P., where he completed and served at the Board level of several technology companies in digital media, consumer, hardware, and cleantech. Vimal Patel joined Sierra in 2004 and focused on clean technology, components and subsystems, infrastructure hardware, and semiconductors. Prior to joining the firm, he was a Senior Associate at Alliance Venture Management from 2001 to 2004, and a Senior Associate at Alliance Semiconductor. Before that in 2000, Vimal Patel was a Management Consultant at Diamond Management & Technology Consultants, Inc. (also known as Diamond Technology Partners). He
