Wayne Chang is a member of the Sand Hill Angels board of directors. In 2005, he joined Facebook as one of the company's first engineers. He was a founding member of Facebook's Mobile team and led the Mobile Web product team to a half-billion user milestone. Wayne was an early supporter of Facebook's distinctive engineering culture, and he was chosen to supervise the establishment and expansion of the company's first remote engineering office in Seattle, which grew to 600 workers. He then established Facebook's Culture Infrastructure team, which created internal tools (based on lessons learned in Seattle) to help scale out Facebook's distinctive culture and procedures around the globe. He left the firm in mid-2018 after nearly 13 years to invest in and advise startups while still looking for his next career at a mission-driven organization.
