Wenqian Zhu is a Managing Director with GE Equity Asia Pacific and the Head of China. Wenqian has worked with GE Equity Asia Pacific since 2006 and has led many of GE Equity Asia Pacific’s successful equity investments in China. Wenqian was promoted to the position of Head of China in 2008. Wenqian has led key business initiatives to drive deal origination in China by building relationships internally with GE industrial businesses as well as externally with intermediaries and government agencies. During her tenure, Wenqian has worked on 12 investments for GE Equity Asia Pacific, primarily as a deal leader and pole leader in China/Taiwan.
