William Ruh is the Managing Principal and Executive Vice President at Aequitas Capital, a private equity firm with over $560 million in assets. Prior to joining Aequitas Mr. Ruh was a partner at Castle Creek Capital, which he co-founded in 1995 to focus on the recapitalization, growth, and buyout of community banks throughout the United States. Prior to Castle Creek, Mr. Ruh served as Vice President at Belle Plaine Financial where he was an investment banker specializing in the financial services sector. He also was the director of Hanmi Financial Corporation, the largest Korean-American bank in the United States. Mr. Ruh holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the State University of New York Maritime College and an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
