Wolfsburg AG is a public-private partnership between the city of Wolfsburg and Volkswagen AG. We have been committed to developing projects in future-oriented fields of activity and implementing them together with our strong partners since 1999. We use these ideas and incentives to create a multitude of initiatives for business and life in the Wolfsburg region. We have successfully managed to improve the attractiveness of the Wolfsburg region as a business location and an excellent place to live on a long-term basis. A multitude of companies, from start-ups through to global players, have relocated to the location. This achievement, together with the implementation of a large number of innovative employment schemes, has enabled us to reduce the unemployment rate in the Wolfsburg region by more than half.
