Yao brings to Nokia Growth Partners her operating and management consulting experience across mobile, clean technology, and retail industries. Prior to NGP, Yao worked as a strategy manager at Motorola Mobility where she focused on China market channels and retail transformations as well as ecosystem and tablet strategies. She began her career at McKinsey & Company as a business consultant. Yao advised on new market development, channel strategy, and organizational restructuring for both international and local clients across diversified industries. Yao also worked for Youth Business China, which is an NGO and the largest educational program in China. She was a co-founder and head of marketing for a biotechnology startup. Yao holds a Master’s degree in Finance from Peking University, Guanghua School of Management, and a Master’s degree in International Business from Grenoble Ecole De Management in France. She received her double Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Arts from Peking Uni
