Yoshiyuki Muramatsu has been engaged in setting up new businesses in the information industry as well as in sales and marketing of existing businesses with ITOCHU Corporation, CIE America, Inc. and ITOCHU Techno-Solutions. With ITOCHU Corporation, Mr. Muramatsu was in charge of setting up businesses including mobile services and Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), which leverages next generation communication technology. He served as Sales Manager and Head of New Business Development Office with operating companies. Two investee companies were sold through M&A process while serving these positions. From April 2007, Mr. Muramatsu was engaged in investments in venture companies in and outside Japan and hands-on support with ITOCHU Technology Ventures. During his two-year term, he invested in three companies, and one company was listed.
