Yoshiyuki Shibusawa is the President and CEO of JAFCO Asia and a member of its Investment Committee with effect from 1 October 2012. He is also a member of the Board of JAFCO Co., Ltd., the parent company of JAFCO Asia and also Japan’s largest venture capital company. Yoshiyuki has more than 20 years experience in the venture capital industry. After his graduation from University, Yoshiyuki started his professional career with JAFCO Co., Ltd. in the investment department responsible for venture investments in various regions in Japan. In 2002, he was promoted to General Manager overseeing investments mainly in the Tokyo Metropolitan region. Subsequently, he was promoted to Group Officer and then to Corporate Officer overall in-charge of all venture investments in Japan.
