Dr. Youngcho Chi is the chief innovation officer and executive vice president in charge of strategy and technology at Hyundai Motor Group. Previously, Dr. Chi was executive vice president in charge of corporate strategy and corporate development at Samsung Electronics Co. for 10 years. His focus was in formulating corporate strategy for new businesses, M&A, platform & services, and industry disruption issues. He has also previously worked at Accenture, McKinsey & Co. and AT&T Bell Laboratories. Dr. Chi obtained Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Seoul National University. He has a Ph.D. from Brown University.
